Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today, we're gonna take a brief look at this Trimax Gun Trigger Lock. With this trigger lock, you're gonna be able to prevent tampering and accidental discharge of your handgun, rifle, or shotgun. This lock is going to be easy to use, and it's gonna provide a peace of mind. Now, to use this, you wanna make sure that your safety is on in the safe position on your gun, and you wanna check that your gun is not loaded or cocked, and you never wanna use these locks on a loaded gun. So I'm gonna go ahead and unlock this and pull this lock apart, so I'm gonna use one of the included keys and give this a turn here, just pull this lock apart. And so, what you're going to do is you're going to put the front of this lock, and I'm calling this front part the part with the keyhole, and you're gonna put that on one side of the trigger against the trigger guard, and then you wanna check the best locking position before completing this next step.

And then after you're sure that the locking position is good, you're gonna take this other half here, place that on the opposite side, and then just insert the front part into it. And as you can see, that's going to go firmly around the trigger guard of your gun, and then you can just remove that key, and these will be locked in place. Now, I'm gonna go ahead and open this up again and just show you that you can push these parts together around your gun without the key inserted, and that's still going to work and lock into place. And open this up one more time here, I do wanna mention that this does have a nice rubber lining that's going to protect your gun's finish. So again, remove the keys, and then just push these together, and that's going to be locked into place for you.

Now, let me pull out my ruler here and just give you some overall measurements to make sure this is going to work for you. The overall length, including the rubber lining here that's sticking out on both ends, we're sitting pretty close to 2 3/8 inches long, and then the width or the height, however you'd like to describe it, we're sitting pretty close to an inch and a half, and then the thickness, overall, the thickest points here, we're sitting pretty close to 2 1/4 inches thick. So you are gonna get everything that you see here, you're gonna get the trigger lock, you're gonna get two keys, and this does have a limited lifetime warranty from Trimax, and again, you wanna make sure that you don't use these on loaded guns. And if you have more than one gun you want to lock up, I do have good news for you, we do carry these also in a quantity of three.
